Introduction
National Petrochemical Company (NPC) will host the
Eighth Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF 2008) in May 2008.
The Forum relaunch comes at a point when the projects
NPC had planned during 2002-2007 have been completed and
are brought onstream heralding a watershed development
not only for the Iranian petrochemical sector but for
global petrochemical industry.
With the completion of NPC’s second an third five- year
development plans and over half of projects formulated
under its fourth five- year development plan
(2005-2009), , IPF 2008 seeks to address key issues
surrounding the global petrochemical sector.
